MIL-STD-188-220 Platform Timing Characterization

Product Details:

MIL-STD-188-220 Timing Characterization

DaCAS environments deal with heterogeneous platforms involving different aircraft and mission ground kits.  VMF Mission operational task planning requires establishing a set of optimized MIL-STD-188-220 network timing parameters that all network stations can properly operate under.  The network timing parameters represent key modem (DTE) and radio (DCE) contributing elements to the overall timing model.  Aeronix can visit your facility to conduct this measurement activity on your target modem/radio platform combinations and produce a detailed report.

Features

  • Multi-day activity based on the number of modem/radio combinations your platform utilizes
    • Includes independent measurements for CT and PT modes of operation
  • Measures the following MIL-STD-188-220 timing parameters:
    • ELAG
    • DCE RTURN/TTURN
    • DTEACK
    • EPRE
    • PHASING
    • TOLERANCE
  • Tailored measurement procedures
  • Detailed measurement report that can be sent to your platform service’s network design administrator
  • Supports DACAS Block 1 ECP 5 – Optask CNR
