PALM BAY, Fla., Jan. 7, 2026. –– SafeSky Systems USA has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aeronix Inc., an ATG company, to collaborate on the advancement of interoperable unmanned aerial system (UAS) integration and payload deployment capabilities for defense and national security applications.
Under the MOU, Aeronix will support the development of CLIK (Common Lethality Integration Kit)–compatible interface solutions and resilient communications frameworks intended to enhance interoperability across UAS platforms, payloads, and supporting ground systems. SafeSky Systems will lead the design and development of complementary payload interface and deployment subsystems intended to integrate with CLIK-compatible architectures.
The collaboration will focus on iterative refinement of size, weight, and power (SWaP) considerations to ensure alignment with SafeSky’s existing and future UAS platforms while accelerating the maturation of mission-ready capabilities in support of defense operational requirements. SafeSky Systems will also support system-level integration activities and controlled flight validation efforts.
“This collaboration reflects SafeSky’s commitment to advancing interoperable, mission-focused UAS solutions that align with the evolving needs of defense and national security operators. Partnering with Aeronix allows us to explore integration approaches that emphasize reliability, modularity, and operational relevance,” said Jason Jones, CEO, SafeSky Systems USA.
