Windows Improved Data Modem (WinIDM™)
The Aeronix-developed and maintained WinIDM is the world’s premier VMF-capable software modem. Widely adopted by U.S. and international Digitally-aided Close Air Support (DaCAS) tactical applications, it removes the need for external modem hardware boxes for the dismounted warfighter. It is also the DaCAS gold standard, as it is the MIL-STD-188-220 element of the U.S. DaCAS DVMT test kit that U.S. and coalition tactical applications use to measure interoperability.
