Flexible Modem and Data Port Solutions

AerIDM™ and AerIDM-A™

The AerIDM family is a portfolio of rugged, small, lightweight, power-efficient improved data modems.  AerIDM™ was developed to provide customers a very flexible standalone airborne or vehicular modem based on WinIDM socket-based host architecture.  AerIDM-A is specifically designed to meet stringent electromagnetic interference performance for both fixed -wing and rotary-wing platforms in hostile environments.

Combat Net Radio Interface

The Combat Net Radio Interface (CNRI) provides a rugged USB to radio data port solution for avionics and vehicular installations. A combination of WinIDM and the CNRI cable provides U.S. Air National Guard F-16 aircraft with a DaCAS CCB Coordinated Implementation compliant VMF capability. It supports a wide variety of combat net radios that require a digital sync/serial interface. It provides a low-cost alternative for avionics that can employ Aeronix software modem technology.

Aeronix Physical Interface Layer (APIL™)

When missions require the use of legacy combat net radios, APIL provides a USB to radio data port solution. It supports a wide variety of combat net radios that require a digital sync/serial interface or direct analog ASK/FSK modulation interface. Along with the Aeronix line of software modems, it allows VMF and legacy CNR TDL solutions to work on virtually any data-capable HF/UHF/VHF combat net radio in the world.
