802.16 - Aeronix continues to develop custom 802.16 solutions primarily targeted at military and homeland security applications. These modems combine state-of-the-art Super-heterodyne radio technology and SDR architecture to implement a truly flexible and programmable solution for long-range IP wireless networking. When combined with high performance directional antenna technology, these modems can deliver in excess of 65 Mb data rates up to 75 miles on airborne, shipborne, or land-based platforms.
802.11 – While delivering lower throughput than 802.16, Aeronix’s 802.11 solutions support networking throughput appropriate for home network applications such as Internet and media access. Aeronix has experience developing reference designs for 802.11 commercial products.
MIL-STD-188-220 – Military and tactical communications rely on this VMF protocol for secure and non-secure data distribution. Aeronix’s current IDM product line supports this protocol.
