Embedded HW / SW Systems - Our AerMediaTM software framework provides OS and processor independence allowing rapid implementation of a variety of embedded products. We have experience designing embedded systems utilizing processors with ARM9 & ARM7 cores, MIPs cores, PowerPC cores, and dual (ARM/DSP) processor cores. Specific processor experience includes Intel XScale, PortalPlayer 50XX, TI TMS320DA295, and Freescale processors. Operating system experience includes Linux, Windows CE, RTXC, pSOS, VxWorks, ATI Nucleus, and many others. Specific embedded products include multiple portable MP3 players, an audio recorder, a Video Recorder utilizing a DVD Burner, a portable, wireless inventory control system, and a multi-room audio server/decoder for residential use.
Media Convergence - CMS has years of experience developing and delivering products that converge the power of computing and the Internet with audio, video, and photos. Products include simple 2 line display MP3 players; complex MP3 players with audio, video, and photo support; portable and living room based wireless audio decoders; and hard disk based media management systems with rich TV-based graphical user interfaces.
GUI Interface Design - CMS has designed a number of award winning products that required the development of the user experience from the ground up – including screen elements, backgrounds, and navigation choices. Ease of use and aesthetics are provided in every product that we create. In addition, the AerMedia design environment allows customers to frequently interact with our designers to provide instant feedback and customization.
