Daniel G. Yelverton

CEO

Dan Yelverton is CEO of Aeronix, Inc., an advanced electronics development company he helped found in 1985. Mr. Yelverton has over 30 years of systems engineering and leadership experience in aerospace and government electronics research. A hands-on company president, Mr. Yelverton has participated in multiple Space and Tactical Programs from Concept Development through Field Integration. Focus areas have included tactical Information collection and display systems, as well as satellite command / control subsystems.

Prior to founding Aeronix, Mr. Yelverton was a Project Engineer at Harris Corporation Aerospace Division. At Harris he led development of the Navy's Satellite Payload Data Management Subsystem, the Hubble Telescope Fine Guidance Electronics, and the N-ROSS satellite tracking facility local area network. Mr. Yelverton was Principal Investigator for the Satellite Processing Technology IR&D on Fault Tolerant Processor and Data Transfer, and was also instrumental in the design of US Air Force Mil-Std-1553B LSI Chip Set, AGUSTA - A109/A129 Autopilot, Hubble Telescope Optical Telescope Assembly, Space Shuttle PCM Master Unit, and the Air Force B1 Electrical Multiplex System.

Ronald J. Capasso

PRESIDENT

A founder of Aeronix, Mr. Capasso brought processor design and secure communications expertise to the company. Instrumental in some of Aeronix's early successes, he has continued to expand the company's product base and skill set into the cryptographic realm, pioneering development of a crypto MCM, and more recently, of a family of Type 1 fully-programmable cryptographic modules. Mr. Capasso provides strategic leadership, determining product direction, innovative corporate initiatives, and proposal development. Mr. Capasso is also directly engaged with COMSEC and INFOSEC product set endorsement efforts.

Prior to joining Aeronix, Mr. Capasso served as a Systems Engineer at Harris Corporation. He specialized in processor design, network protocols, and secure communications, and was the design engineer responsible for processor architecture and guidance software on the Hubble Space Telescope.

Brian Brown

VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Brian Brown joined Aeronix in 1998 to provide teaming assistance and to lead Aeronix’s diversification into commercial business ventures. Bringing with him 20 years of experience in a variety of commercial electronics settings, Mr. Brown was able to leverage his talent for organizational assessment to immediately improve focus within the business. Mr. Brown’s strong customer relationship skills and proven ability to operate across all levels of the corporation have promoted strong cross-functional teaming capabilities across product development, marketing, and sales. As Vice President of Business Development, he is currently responsible for generating partnership and business opportunities, and fostering relationships within the industry.

Prior to joining the Aeronix team, Mr. Brown held directorship positions at Cypress Semiconductor, AT&T Global Information Solutions (Previously NCR Corp.), and PC Products, contributing across the board to business strategy development, engineering, production, and marketing initiatives.

Randall K. Roberts

VICE PRESIDENT, COMMERCIAL SERVICES

Mr. Roberts helped found the Consumer Media Systems business unit within Aeronix in 2002. In 2007, he stepped in as Acting Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Roberts was instrumental in the design, development and OEM manufacture of Aeronix’s commercial product spin-offs, including the Zipit Instant Messaging device, and AerMedia, a software framework for GUI based product development.

Mr. Roberts brings a wealth of experience in international commercial product development, and continues to lead Aeronix in the tough transition of product ideas from tactical and defense initiatives to the consumer market. In addition to strategic managerial and engineering startup experience, he came to Aeronix with over 20 years experience in the consumer electronics, personal computer, and multimedia components industry, plus a history of building strong relationships with key suppliers and customers.

Prior to joining Aeronix, Mr. Roberts was Director of Engineering for OpenGlobe developing quality home audio/video systems, was VP of Engineering for startup, avACTIVE LLC – early leaders in the development of convergence home entertainment products, and served as Engineering Manager at Cirrus Logic.
